Camp Lochearn for Girls offers paid summer camp jobs and leadership opportunities for counselors, activity instructors, waterfront staff, horseback riding staff, arts specialists, nurses, and support personnel at a traditional girls overnight summer camp in Vermont. Staff members mentor girls in athletics, creative arts, outdoor adventure, waterfront activities, equestrian programs, and cabin life while developing leadership, communication, teamwork, teaching, mentorship, and youth development skills in a close-knit camp community.

Lochearn Camp for girls has many employment opportunities. Working at Lochearn is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child – it really does thake a village to make the summer successful!

Not sure which one fits you? If you played a sport in high school or college, land sports (lacrosse, soccer, field hockey, tennis, softball, volleyball, gymnastics) is the natural fit; we teach every level from first-timers to advanced. Grew up on the water, or hold a lifeguard or sailing certification? Waterfront needs skiing, sailing, swimming, diving, paddleboarding and canoeing instructors. Ride, or teach riding? Our equestrian program runs daily. Theater kid, artist or dancer? The fine and performing arts team covers sewing, ceramics, drama, dance and stage design. Comfortable on a rock face or a mountain bike? Adventure staff run the Alpine Tower, hiking, archery and mountain biking. And every cabin needs a counselor first, whatever your specialty, you'll also live with and look after a group of girls.
