Campers and counselors tell us our food is great.
We have partnered with local farms to purchase key staples for the menu…..”Farm to Table”.
We have fruit available every day and salad bars at every lunch and dinner.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet style. Campers are seated at assigned tables with two counselors for breakfast and dinner, and lunch is open-seating. Camp is a great time to encourage a healthy lifestyle and eating habits.
We also enjoy fun meals such as cookouts, Hawaiian luaus, international dinners, and theme meals.
As the demand for special diets has increased over the years, we find that we are able to accommodate some special dietary needs. Our kitchen is dedicated to producing nutritious high quality meals from fresh ingredients for our entire community.
It is absolutely necessary that a camper on a special diet be aware of her dietary needs and is cooperative with her dietary plan. She must be knowledgeable about what foods can and cannot be eaten and be willing to check in with our kitchen staff before each meal.
Our kitchens are nut aware and we do not use or serve products with hidden nuts or nut oils. Our camp store also serves some treats that contain nuts. We always provide nut-free options.
Our kitchens are gluten aware and can provide the following gluten-free items: bread, pasta, corn tortillas, pancakes, and waffles. These products are gluten-free but may include dairy and eggs, soy or other ingredients which may not be acceptable for certain gluten based intolerances.
We provide soy milk and rice milk as an alternative. Some dishes on our menu include cooked cheese.
For each meal which has a meat-based main dish we provide a vegetarian option. We do not prepare special vegan meals. Fresh fruits and vegetables are always available.
Please contact us regarding any special dietary needs your daughter has before enrolling her for camp.
